Gmod crashes on startup

I’ve been playing GMod for the past 2 years, and I’ve never experienced this problem at all while playing. I’ve reinstalled, I’m right now checking for corrupted windows files to see if that’s the problem. I’ve also cleaned up Gmod and that also didn’t work.

The instruction at “0x1459b520” referenced memory at “0x114df2b0”. The memory could not be “read”.

I was playing fine last night and now I have no clue.

Processor: Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU E8200 @ 2.66GHz (2 CPUs)
RAM: 4 GB
Graphics Card: NVidia Geforce 8800 GT
Operating System: Windows XP professional (5.1 Build 2600)

Try closing background apps, setting resolution down?

That error can be caused be gmod using virtual memory (HDD Space).
As you got plenty of RAM, Try disabling it.
