Greater optimization for physics heavy mods?

I’d love it if someone could eventually mod in red faction: guerilla style destruction (especially in VR and online), but will S&box be able to handle that? Can we optimize it for that?

The physics engine is great, and with proper optimisation u can make it better, disabling simulation if unnecessary etc, it could probably boost the FPS heavily but no matter what it should still be ok, unless u do like 5 quadrillion pieces simulated.
