Half life source mapping?

I’m guessing i can use this place for this.
How can i use the content from half life source so i can make singleplayer missions for it, And how do i make the alien spawn with the effect and noise and stuff?

Ummm, I’m fairly certain HL:S still uses wad files, so you’d need to unpack it for the textures? or maybe use the old hammer?

There’s a fgd file on the Valve dev wiki, but you’re going to have to make your own configuration and edit the gameinfo.txt file (otherwise it mounts CS:S content instead for some reason)

I’m guessing it’s this, Where do i put the file after i’ve safed it in notepad and set it to Half-Life Source.fgd


Got that but, the grid goes black and there’s no grid lines
