Half Life Source NPCs blood

I noticed that when some Half-Life Source npcs bleed, the blood particles seem to have the missing texture pattern. Which is fairly odd i think. I thought at first it was to do with a model pack i had put in so i took it out. It did resolve other issues though. Then i also disabled all the addons and renamed all the addon.txt to info.txt so they wouldnt register for the legacies but the blood particles were still strange. Then I verified the files and it said it was fine.

Is this supposed to make happen? If so, is there a way to replace the particles so it does not do that thing.
