hammer is alowing me to place models that gmod cant load

If I make a map in hammer and add props some of the props hammer says are available when i go and load it with garrys mod the props are not there.

Sounds like a mounting issue in Garry’s Mod. Are you using third party content / did you import any content into SDK that Garry’s mod doesn’t have mounted?

and this is no fancy content from some extra game,
it’s a hl2 model.

Sounds like you are attempting to use the model as a prop_physics or prop_static and the model is not setup for it, post you compile log.
