Hammer texture glow?

I am working on a map for the upcoming gamemode I am making and have hit a snag.

The origional map was during the day and lit, and when the lighting was changed the result was this: (Sorry for the huge size!)
http://img7.imageshack.us/img7/411/deschoold0004.jpg
http://img651.imageshack.us/img651/8439/deschoold0001.jpg

The interior pictures were ment to be pitch black but instead we got this glowing.
Does anyone know what would be causing this kind of thing to happen? I can’t seem to figure it out. Certain textures glow and all props seem to glow, the toolgun also did the same thing.

Can you post your compile log.

weird, never seen this before. Run buildcubemaps?

This happens if you don’t compile the cubemaps with and without HDR. Basically, turn off HDR, build the cubemaps, then turn it back on and run buildcubemaps again.

This might sound stupid but I am new to SDK, how would I go about doing that?

Do I build the cubemaps in game or something?

Place env_cubemap entities around the level about 64 units from the ground. Usually you’ll want a cubemap entity in every room where you want different reflections. Then, while in game, open the console and type in buildcubemaps.

Type into console buildcubemaps then restart the game and launch your map.

Place an env_cubemap in Hammer, recompile the map.

Run the game, in the console type in order:

mat_specular 0
buildcubemaps
mat_specular 1

Thanks guys got it working.
