Compile log please…

I’ve been wondering how to update a .bsp file, if thats what you mean.

This is usually a tell tale sign of a leak… load the pointfile Map>Load Pointfile, that will direct you to the source of your leak

Just run the compile process again (f9)

Leaks don’t usually stop the map compiling altogether, they just often acompany an error that prevents VBsp running in newer mappers work.

Look, you are not making yourself clear. It is very hard to give help if the problem is not clear.

What is energy sword? What is updating a map? How would energy sword update the map?

My guess is displacement on func_detail.

That will surely stop compile.


Post the compile log

Press F9. Check the “Don’t run the game after compiling” box. Click Ok.

Then, click the button at the button of the compile log when it has finished, and paste it in this thread. Otherwise we cannot help you.

Incidentally, i hope you aren’t planning on releasing that.

VBSP cannot compile your map.

Find the displacement at those co-ordinates, delete it and remake it.

Is it set to “power of 4”? If so try set it to 3 instead.
If that don’t work, try to delete it and re-make it.
