Help with collision model

Yah… I can’t get my collision model for my canoe to work.

It works fine in 3dsmax, but when I compile for source, it’s all messed up.
I need to be able to walk inside the canoe, but the physics model is basically covering up every indent…

On the left is the wrong way to make a physics model, on the right is the correct way. Use only simple convex shapes. After it’s done, apply a texture and assign all faces to smoothing group 1.

Also, take this shit out of your qc

Those are comments created by the decompiler, and so people think they have to include those lines in the qc. Comments. They don’t do anything.

Okay… But I already tried using simple shapes to make it, and it still didn’t work. I also did the smoothing groups shit, and it’s still doing this.

i have the same problem , in the compiling program ,select “flip all triangles” and apply smoothing groups for the collision model
…i use as compiling program gui studioMDL

You haven’t welded those parts together, have you? They only need to be attached as elements.

welded, whaaat? I never did anything in 3dsmax except following what every tutorial tells me to do, going over it 40 times and screaming into a pillow.
