Hexing question.


I have no idea why this happened. I checked the VMFs, the pathway, everything. I honestly cant see why it does this, i mean, i changed everything needed. I did select
“create auto vmf”, is it bad?

Yes, auto VMF doesn’t work. Convert to vtf, copy paste your vmt file and edit it so that it is named properly and in the right location. Auto VMF creates them flagged as lightmappedgeneric or something of the sort when they need to be vertexlitgeneric, or that’s the problem as I’ve experienced it. Anyways, I don’t rename the texture files, I just change which folder they’re in so it saves some trouble. Just make sure the copypasted VMF files have their folder directories updated as well.
