HL2 Debris problems

How on earth do I fix this? I don’t want to be seeing matte grey rebar jutting out of a destroyed wall.

You cannot fix this because it is a part of the model. So, it was never broken.

An over-the-top plan would be to check the model’s texture file and material file, and make the rebar texture invisible.
