How could a player-controlled Gantry Crane be made?

I’m working on a powerhouse map, and I want to include a Gantry crane (for moving generators and stuff) that can be used to solve some combat puzzles. Is there any feasible way to allow the player to move the crane back and forth, but also be able to slide the hook from side to side and raise / lower a payload?

There are models for one in EP2, so I assume there was one that slipped my noticing during the course of the game, but I can’t figure out how it would be done…

Game_ui or momentary_rot_buttons controlling a number of func_movelinear?

I had no idea what game_ui did before, that’s incredible.

Hey, I could’ve sworn I saw one of those in Evocity2. And it was workable, picked up cargo containers.
