How do I enable blinking on a playermodel using DMX flexes?

As far as I’m concerned, for playermodel to have lipsync capability and blinking capabilities in Gmod, they must use .vta format with all 30 something flexes as defined on the valve developer wiki. However I tend to use .dmx format so I can skip some of the needed flexes as well as dealing with a higher poly count on some meshes. Unfortunately this also means that any playermodel I make using .dmx flexes doesn’t automatically blink or have any sort of lipsync when talking into the mic etc.

My question is, is it possible to have blinking and lip-sync with dmx, and if so, how?
