How do I make a prop_static function as a button?

The title is pretty self-explanitory, but I have a garage door, with the elevator door button prop next to it. How do I make it so when players “use” the prop, it opens and closes the door?

put a func_button over the prop. Usually with the nodraw texture on it.

make it into a prop_dynamic
