How do you trigger animations without animGraph?

The current performance issues involving AnimGraph ( as stated on the wiki ), have lead me to try and learn an alternate way, I know this wiki link is useful but if anyone has any examples it would really help.

In simple terms I’m trying to trigger a weapon animation when attack() is called without using AnimGraph.

Try using the CurrentSequence property on AnimEntity. You can set the name of the current sequence and some other stuff in there. Just make sure the entity doesn’t use AnimGraph.
