How do you use multiple materials for a model.

(NOT MULTIPLE SKINS BUT OTHER TEXTURES USED ON OTHER FACES)
Also this does not require major help. :slight_smile:

$modelname	“pancake/sonybravia.mdl”
$body mybody	“Sony Bravia.smd”
$surfaceprop	computer
$staticprop
$cdmaterials	“models/pancakes_tv/black64”
$sequence idle	“Sony Bravia.smd”
$collisionmodel “Sony Bravia.smd”
{
$mass 15
}

And the other materials I need to add to it.

models/pancakes_tv/tv_screen
models/pancakes_tv/tv_frame

The QC for the model does not store the materials used in the model. The $cdmaterials command is only meant to point to the path the materials are contained in (ie models/pancakes_tv). The SMD file(s) list the material name above each face drawn in that huge array of code. Assigning multiple texture files in the model before exporting to the SMD is dependent on your model program.

Do’h whoops, thanks I keep forgetting. >o>
