How to decompile character models without fucking up boneweights?

I recently used Milkshape3d (v1.8.5) and I had no problems with bonesweight when importing or exporting a model. Everything went fine

Another thing, whenever I import this guy’s models (http://gun-game.ucoz.com/) and export, the boneweights are fine.

This is very weird, it happens to other people’s player models too but this guy’s models always export fine for me.

You might be using a different version of the importer/exporter than him.

Have you actually exported and compiled and tested it in-game when you use 3DS Max?
