How to get the world model of a players active weapon?

Well I’ve tried LocalPlayer():GetActiveWeapon():GetModel() and it returns the view model of the weapon, how can I get the world model of it?

Just throwing it out there, but maybe LocalPlayer():GetActiveWeapon().WorldModel , if you coded it similar to Garry’s example SWEP.

That doesn’t work with HL2 weapons, and only if the worldmodel is stored in the variable SWEP.WorldModel

But essentially that method would work as long as SWEP.WorldModel has the world model in it correct?
