HUD BLUR: Is it through coding?

I want my character to have an effect when you move rapidly the camera blurs, I know that Garrysmod already does that to an extent. But I want it to be similar like halo 3 or crysis. How would I do that? (Very new to programming)

You can use the blur shader Garry made, or if you know HLSL you could make your own blur. There’s plenty of “documentation” in the pp/motionblur lua file.

Then tweak the values starting with mat_motion_blur_
