have you thought about making the zombies/mutants the amount of the people that die in the server? so if people go around and kill people they become zombies and makes it harder for them and everyone else. it would balance out the random violence a little by adding the fear of a horde or zombies. just an idea but it seems to be a cool concept. like in the walking dead series “we all carry the disease” kinda thing.
I was also thinking that incorporating ideas from The Walking Dead would help the game. But I was thinking more along the lines of gunfire and explosions attracting zombies/nasty creatures. That way they would be seen as a last resort (like in TWD) instead of the go to.
