Increasing the range of engagement for NPCs

Hey guys, I’s making a map for CSS and I’m trying to approximate how certain parts of the map play out using various scenarios.

I am currently testing it in Gmod, and I was wondering if there was a way to increase the NPC’s attack range. Also, how do you increase NPC accuracy?

As of now, their range is pretty short, and while they do ‘see’ the player and change their state to alert, or ready they don’t shoot until the player is very close.

There’s an NPC proficiency tool that changes accuracy. I don’t know about the range editing though.

Maybe there’s something in the NPC’s AI files?

I once took a look at some AI files, once you get in, it’s pretty self explainatory.

Sadly I don’t recall the exact code, though.
