as a person who doesnt know extremely much about such things but enough to know that P2P equals it runs on your pc and stuff, im curious if FP will take measures to make sure your ip is hidden when playing with others. just curious
Right now, servers use your steam Id to connect, and your traffic is directed through steam’s network. Server and client IPs are not exposed in any way.

Servers with addons still will be able to grab your IP. It’s practically impossible to avoid.
All you can trust these days is having IP that gives your approximate location or use VPN.
All IPs give approximate locations.
In addendum to what’s been said here, If you don’t trust the server or peer you’re connecting to, don’t connect.
There will always be a way around any preventative measures you put in place (unless it’s a decent VPN).
Just load up on email accounts and abuse proton vpn trial periods.
