Is there a guide for this? (compiling)

I’ve just started to learn about 3DS MAX 2008 and i was wondering if there is a guide somewhere that shows you how to import models and such into the gameplay.

Im sure there is coding and stuff involved and i am ok with that.

All i ask for is a guide.

Wait, what do you mean? Like from 3ds max to Source engine?
If yes then there is very little coding which I wouldnt even really call coding. Just a QC file and VMT’s.

It’s called compiling.
