Logos glitching when I look around

So I’m creating a game mode and currently working on the user interface. I’m creating my logos and icons with GIMP and VTFEdit.
All of the original images are PNG format. I tried using TGA, but the problem persists.

So first, this is how it’s supposed to look:

It doesn’t stay that way for long. When I start looking around, it does this:

The material that is the logo starts doing this black static streaking and tearing thing that changes as I continue looking around.
And this isn’t the only image this happens with. I went through all of the options in VTFEdit for the VMT file and tried different combinations of attributes for the VTF, but nothing fixes it. It’s either worse, or like this.
I even tried the VTF pligin for GIMP, but that didn’t change anything.

Anyone have an idea what’s going on here?

Pissing in the wind here, but are you setting it’s absolute position or parenting it to something else?

Absolute, I believe. They’re textures painted on the main panels.

Perhaps try making them parented to something else?

You could also check how TTT handles it

So you don’t think it’s a problem with the vtf/vmt?

Change the shader in the .vmt file to “UnlitGeneric”.

You, sir, are a gentleman and a scholar.
Could’ve swore I tried that one.
Fixed it, thank you.
