Looking for mappers for my Gmod Gamemode - nZombies (Nazi Zombies Gamemode)

I’m looking for some people who would be willing to make some maps for my gamemode, which you can read more about here: http://forum.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1380871

However, in my gamemode there is an in game editor for placing entities. So I’m looking for either actual maps made in hammer or whatever OR using a pre-existing map and using the ingame editor.

I’d like to be able to do all the SENTS in Hammer as opposed to having to place them manually in-game. Is there a way to do so?

Not really sure how hammer works, so you’ll have to quickly run me through what info is needed. Can hammer call lua functions? Or do you just place the entity and add properties?

Off topic: just realised who you were! What ever happened to your weapon base? That was pretty cool

Check TTT’s .fgd, it has several good entities for reference, such as ttt_game_text.
You can call Lua functions via Hammer’s I/O and also use variables, but you’ll need to make it read the data in the entity’s Lua file.

Ah so the fgd makes it easier for map makers gotcha, okay well I’ll see what I can do for making this fgd

I also noticed a bug with the creator when doing this. If you have zombie spawns set to a door then remove the door you get spammed with

Edit: No AI nodes because I’m a twat and forgot a gamemode like this would need them, but thankfully the gamemode creator thought of that and it isn’t actually needed. (But I’m sure handmade nodes would have worked better)

Thanks so much for this, will look into that bug for you, and don’t worry about the ai nodes, it uses nav mesh so just type /generate to make one!

Yeah that’s what I had done. A few suggestions though, have the invisible blocks be a player clip only (I thought thats what they were at first but sadly not), make the bodies no-collide with the players/ zombies as getting stuck on a body is very annoying. But overall I like it and look forward to seeing it finished.

I once made a simple source mod that hardly mimicked call of duty nazi zombies, I can give some advice on the rounds and health algorithm.

Any particular for the blocks to be player clip only? Yeah I just updated it today, the bodies now no collide now with a few other changes like the implementation of barricades:
