Making a mdl who include only animation .

Hey guys , i need your help because i want to animate some models using the same animations , so i want to make a mdl that has all animations and then include it into the character mdl.
I tried but it don’t works , here is my qc for the animations mdl:

When i load the model in modelviewer i see the animations on the character model but when selecting them the model don’t animate anyone know what’s wrong ? I seached using google and such but never found a guide on how to do a mdl with animations only .

May I see this model? Ive had this problem too, Perhaps its because the skeletons are different.

well no it use the same skeletons, i rigged it myself .

i don’t think it’s possible to compile a *.QC file without a reference *.SMD

it’s compiling for me , animations arn’t working , i know that some guys have already done this before and i want to see how they did it . please .

You can’t recompile the zombie animations

well i found a man who’s using a model with only zombie animation , that’s the gman zombie i found on gmod.org .

Why not use $includemodel “zombie/zombie_animations.mdl” ???

i used it , but i want to make that zombie_animations.mdl anyone know how can i do that ?

Post the .qc of the model that’s including the animation file in the compile.

As i said the model itself is good , i don’t have any error during compilation and it works , only the animation arn’t working from my animation mdl

So you want to change zombie_torso.mdl to zombie_animations.mdl? You can just edit that with notepad.

I can tell English is not your first language, but if it helps, you speak your original language while we use an online translator, that will help. (Not trying to offend anyone)

ok you don’t understand what i mean so here you go :

download this file , inside there are the zombie models and those zombie models are including the model with all animations in it , it’s called ZCanims.mdl and what i want to know is what’s the QC to do that ZCanims.mdl .

Just use ZCanims.mdl

I made the model, I give you permission. If you want to do it yourself you have to copy zombie/classic.mdl and rename it.
