Making an NPC Follow a Player No Matter Where the Player Is

Is there any type of code that can make an NPC, in this case an npc_crow, fly towards a specific position no matter where they are?


Like this? He scripted a NextBot that basically faced the nearest target, moved forward, and kept facing it’s target.
For a bird I can see it getting stuck on props or walls very easily without some additional brains.

So to answer your question, yes it is possible to code a nextbot crow to follow players.

Is there any example code that I could take a look at?

This guy shared some code for some UT2004 spider mines.
