Manipulating Hitboxes

Is there a way to manipulate the hitboxes using Lua? I’m rewriting the Lua Animations API from scratch and right now hitboxes are my only concern.

I see that http://wiki.garrysmod.com/page/Entity/ManipulateBonePosition and http://wiki.garrysmod.com/page/Entity/ManipulateBoneAngles are shared but do they change hitboxes serverside?

No. Hitboxes are attached to bones though, so moving bones should move their associated hitboxes.

That makes sense. If animations are updated via the Think hook do you think there would need to be any type of extra synchronization besides being based off CurTime()?
