Material Cubemaps application

-.- I used to do this fine, but how do I apply an environment map to a material .VMF or whatever the extension is. I need to know for making New Super Mario Bros. PC, gold bricks. I don’t want to apply env_cubemap, but rather, my own custom cubemap. All I need is the command (such as model=blah).
Please help.

well instead of

"$envmap" "env_cubemap"

You replace env_cubemap with the name of your cubemap

All I wanted to know was the “$envmap” part. Thankyou.
