Maya 2017 help exporting to mdl with MESA2

Hello, I’m, trying to export mdl files from Maya 2017 iv done what the installation guide told me and Its not working, Not sure if anyone uses Maya to make Garry’s mod models but if do and know a way to export to mdl please tell me. Thanks

Try an older version compatible with MESA? something being the newest doesn’t exactly mean it’s the best either

Thanks, but I have only got access to 2017Maya because I don’t want to pirate copy an early version.
