This is probably a very commonly asked question but I can’t seem to find my problem. My problem is that I created an entity that changes the players model to what I set it to. The model I downloaded from garrysmod.org, decompiled it, changed the .qc to make sure it receives animations, ect. I found that on my other computer, the model shows up in a T position(no animation). So I downloaded the model again, repeated the compilation process changed up the directory’s to make it more organized. It works on my main computer but the one that has to download these files the model doesn’t show up, only a blue light from the phys. gun. In the console I receive this message:
*MDLCache*: Failed *load* of .*VVD* data for "old model directory"
So apparently it is loading the old directory for the model and yes my lua code does use resource.AddFile(“Model Directory”).
In part I have 2 questions:
- How do I fix the MDLCache: Failed load of .VVD data for “old model directory”.
2)Once I figure this out if my other computer still views the the player in a T position, how can I fix this?
