Medusa’s look is the very first SWEP I coded all by myself. I am quite proud of it and it is still on-going. The mod spontaneously combusts any entity that is not the world you look at (with your crosshair). This includes Props, NPCs, Vehicles, and more!
TO-DO:

  • Test new hand texture / model
  • Left click to summon an eye that obliterates a random entity
  • More to come

…It combusts them? I don’t think that’s how this works, but good job!

Thanks! One little thing I have to say though is that even though the textures for the hands do not work, the change was intentional. They were supposed to be red gloves but now I am thinking of how to get it working…

When I get on my home PC i will merge the pr, add a texture if possible, and upload to steam :wink:

You should recompile v_hands then to make your own texture path. The problem is that your texture will override all default instances.

I could then, in theory, change the name of the model and path in it’s entirety, so that doesn’t happen…

can you put some media up, and maybe add an overload feature where if you use it too much you combust into flames, that’d be neat or go blind for a period of time.

Is dis have the function to stop burnin’ shiet? :v: like u close your eyes? That would be fun on sandbox when a medusa try to kill the others but she have to close her eyes for a while or it will overheat and stuff

The animations totally failed. I think it is a problem in the shared.lua file but I will give you my compile.qc as well. The model worked though.

Oh, I used the c_arms_citizen model source files as a base. Maybe it’s the

that’s messing it up.

c_arms are for weapon hand attachments. I was referring to the HL2 v_hands admire animation.

Would I replace the animations I have with the ones from the v_hands source files in the SDK or both recompile with the SMDs and animations from the v_hands source files?
