So I am tired of making new threads for releases so I decided I might as well make a central thread for all the things I do not want to dedicate much time to.

So I could not find an MP34 for gmod so I decided to get one. Far Cry 4 had a decent model, but I will try to get the Deadfall and HoG ones since the FC4 does not look very good on source.

This is a prop, I only make props after all :v:

Please report any bugs you find.

Where is the download link?

Link updated now.

You won’t want the Deadfall MP34 believe me, the textures are 512x512 and the normal maps need a huge amount of manual fixing.
Interestingly, it does have a groove the length of the back of its magazine with a visible spring, indicating that they used an airsoft weapon as reference.

Deadfall does have a bunch of rare weapons so I will get them eitherway.
Lots of studios use airsoft models as reference. The MW2 M203 is an airsoft version for example.

I might as well slap the FEAR 2 shit in here as well.

The second Abomination from F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin as a ragdoll.

I do suck at posing.

The model did not turn out as good as I wanted it to, but the first abomination model came out with a broken head mesh, so this is an improvement on that if nothing else.

A ragdoll of the T-14 Armata as it appears in Armored Warfare.

First AW release, done mostly due to a request from a friend.

This model is incredibly high-poly. It managed to hit 80k vertices without the destroyed bodygroups or 3d tracks that wot models require to hit those marks.

The Helghast assault rifle from Killzone 3, now in prop form for your posing needs.

Many thanks to Luxox18 for extracting the model and textures. If you want me to remove the model from the workshop, please say so.

The Helghast soldier is not included. It was extracted by Luxox18 ported by Sgt.Shodup and can be found here:

The Sta-52 doesn’t cast shadows.

This is odd indeed. I have not yet found out the cause, will keep looking.

You probably forgot to add $mostlyopaque in the .qc

I never had to use it before on translucent models though. I will see into it.

About bloody time that someone releases a PKP for Gmod. I was getting sick and tired of using the PKM as a stand in.

Thanks heaps mate!

The China Lake from Black Ops. This model was rather easy to go through, which is a welcome break from the rest I must say.
Interestingly it is called “EX41” in the game files which indicates that either A: The Devs planned to have the EX41 initially but later swapped it for the China Lake, or more likely B: The Devs failed to realize the EX41 and the China Lake are not the same thing.

A prototype grenade launcher developed in 1967 at the China Lake Site by request of SEAL teams, who required a launcher capable of chambering multiple rounds. The resulting weapon was essentially a grenade shotgun. Due to being made at the request of SEALs, it was produced in VERY small numbers, and today only 4 remain.

Name: “China Lake”

Manufacturer: Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake
Class: pump action grenade launcher
Caliber: 40x46mm SR
ROF: 15 rounds per minute
Ammunition type: tube magazine
Ammunition capacity: 4 rounds, 3 in the tube, 1 in the firing chamber
weight: ~4.6 Kg

Bf1 time guys. Line up for some WW1 era models.

A posing prop of the Bergmann MP18 smg from Battlefield 1
Could not get the wood texture so I used one from Black Ops.

The first military-deployed submachine gun, the MP18 wrecked havoc among Allied forces between 1916 and 1918. After the war it became the base for most smg’s, and is the direct ancestor of the MP40.
