Model physics


I was wondering if its possible to implement physics into a model like physicaly correct moving hair, clothes or bodyparts? I dont mean Ragdolls! I mean animated player models!

So what Im planing to to? I want to make a naga player model for GMod. Sure, it would be easy just to animate the model, but I guess you know the problems: e.g. the tail disappears in the ground if the terrain is not flat enough. I would like to avoid this, means that the tail sticks to the ground as smoothy as possible. So I thought a ragdoll like physic for a certain part of the model would fix this.
