movement and collide problems when parenting a player to a prop

i’m trying to parent a player to a prop so that i can have the player ride on the prop like a moving platform. however after parenting when the prop moves the player falls though it and if the prop rotates then the players movement directions get messed up. i have tried using the SetSolid function but it doesn’t seem to help any. i would appreciate any helpful thoughts or ideas any one might have.

You are not supposed to parent the player to anything, I remember reading something about it.

Imagine the parent prop gets removed :x

simple, you just use the CallOnRemove function to unparent the player

although if you have another way to move the player with the prop without the player having to sit in a vehicle or something, i would be interested
