My script doesn't work?

function itsCool(xxx)
Msg(xxx…", nice!/n")
end

myFunc()
itsCool(“ME”)

Remove “myFunc()” and it will work…

Can you tell me why, good sir?

because the myFunc() function isn’t declared in this script

Ahh, ok. What happens if I do this?:

function itsCool(xxx)
Msg(xxx…", nice!/n")
end

itsCool()
itsCool(“ME”)

NOTE: This did not work, so what was wrong?

Calling just isCool() will result in xxx being nil (nothing) and you then try to concatenate nil with a string (…) which results in an error.

Make sure to read the errors and try to understand what they mean before asking for help, too.

Ahh, problem solved. :slight_smile: thx guys
