I’ve imported a custom model originally ported for L4D2 so I could re-rig it and convert it into a player model for GMod (unless the L4D2 skeletons work for GMod player models, in which case please let me know). All parts of the model have been textured properly using their original .vtf texture files, but the parts of the hair that normally have some transparency in their texture will not load.

However, there are .vmt files with the same name as the textures it’s looking for:
I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do here. Do I have to apply the settings in the .vmt’s to the hair texture file or something?
