Network Usage for Civil Cars

Hey there,

maybe you saw it on WAYWO, maybe not: I am working on a Gamemode where civil cars are driving around on the map.
(I changed to rp_evocity_v4b1 btw)

So my question is: How many cars can I spawn, so every player has a good ping?

Some of my ideas:

  1. Only spawn cars where players are
  2. Delete them if they are not in a certain range anymore
  3. Maybe calculate the average ping and decide how many cars can be spawned

Another question: In what range should the network usage be in (k/s in) ?

Set up a server with 5 or so people and see how many cars you can spawn before the lag kicks in, then just do some math.
