New Video / Graphics card doesn't work on Rust.

Hey friendly people from the all might Rust world!
(This thread is about Experimental not Legacy if you were wondering.)

I just installed a new graphics card that I got from a friend (a GTX 750). Before this I ran Rust with no graphics card only using my processor at 20 FPS.
It was a succes installing the new graphics card no problems at all.
So I went to Rust and I saw I had the same shitty 20 FPS as before… I though, did I do something wrong?
So I started up another game; I got like 40 FPS more on that game. So to me something wasn’t right there.
So first, I though it was my grapics card that was the problem.
I went to Divice Manager, right clicked on my NVIDIA GeForce GT 620 (The GTX 750), clicked on properties, and it says the following: “This device is working properly.”. I tried much other things but my graphics card was fine, it was just succesfully installed; nothing wrong with it.
So it was all good there. Now I’m stuck at the 20 FPS part, is there a setting or something that can fix this? I tried re-installing the whole game. Maybe re-installing steam works?
If someone knows/can help me I would appreciate that.
Here are some of my specs:

  • Windows 7 Professional 64 Bits (6.1, build 7601)
  • Systemmodel: B85M-HD3
  • Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-4430 CPU @ 3.00 GHz (4CPUs), ~3.0GHz
  • RAM: 8192MB RAM
  • DirectX version: DirectX 11
(If you need other specs, let me know and I’ll reply to that)

I just don’t know why this is only at Rust. Please let me know!!!

the card is really shitty… thats maybe why u stuck on that fps :frowning:

Wait, am I reading this right, you got a GTX 750 from a friend, in Device Manager it’s a GT 620?

Why would a 750 be reading as a 620?

Wrong drivers maybe
