NextBot on rp_apocalypse

I’m working on making zombies for a gamemode I’m making and it appears that they do not move around properly on rp_apocalypse. I’ve tested it in gm_construct and they work perfectly there but do not move on rp_apocalypse. I know that rp_apocalypse is noded for AIs and I’m wondering if anyone knows why NextBot NPCs do not move on this map. Any possible solutions to this would be greatly appreciated.

Try running nav_generate with cheats on.

This seems to crash me in singleplayer and on my localhost server. Here’s what I read in console:

*Server Crashes*

It can take my computer about 30 minutes to generate a nav you just run nav_generate then come back later. HL2 will seem to freeze and crash but its not

Will I have to do this every time the server is restarted?

nav_generate generate new walkable space for the nextbot and save it as a .nav file.
So no … a one time run.

Everything was going well for the first part:

Then it ended up doing this and the .nav for the map wasn’t saved:

Here is the dump file:

This happened to me once before but I thought something unexpectedly went wrong so I tried it again.

See if it works on other maps. Do a force update with -verify. If it doesn’t work and you are able to do it on other maps then there might be something wrong with that map preventing a nav_generate, this could be cleared up by someone else saying yay/nay they were able to do it.
