NPC classes and npc health

I’ve been trying to make two custom hostile npcs that have different amounts of health on my server. I’ve been modifying health through the skill.cfg but I’ve run into a problem. The problem is they all inherit their health from the combine soldier class. I noticed in the skill.cfg that combine guard and combine elites among other variant of the combine soldier have their own health values, yet when I spawn them in they come up in the console as npc_combine_s. Is there a way I can assign my npc to inherit its health from the combine guard or elite so I can have my two npcs have separate amounts of health?
