NPC movement

Hi, i’m trying to make npc’s move from A-B in my rts using SetSchedule and SetLastPosition, which works fine, but if i make them move to a far distance, it takes a hissy fit and doesn’t move at all, even though my debugging has said that it has passed the vector through it.
If you say “The map needs more nodes”, i’ve already tried it on flatgrass, which i’m assured has tons of nodes, if not, then i’m badly misinformed.

Flatgrass has 0 nodes.

Oh, dexter. If you want to know how many nodes there are, and how they connect, type; ai_nodes and ai_show_connect in console.
