NPC:Sounds doesn't work

I went into the source binaries file and orange box binaries and looked for scripts.
I did found sound scripts. Some of those actually work.-death sound and metrocop afterdeath radio ones
The ones that don’t work is
-‘take cover’ sound =(When there is buring, explosive or dangerous material or mosters)
-wounded-e.g. Civilian saying, I’M HURT!
-footstep sound
-gear sound

Does anyone know how to fix it without reinstalling GMOD?

Verify game cache?
