Howdy again. I was wondering if it were possible, via lua obviously (hurr durr) to basically make trigger_hurt brush entities not -hurt- anyone. Specifically, those damned leeches on the rp_coast maps. If such a thing is possible I’d greatly appreciate someone pointing me in the direction of some good advice. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.
Well the easiest way would be to enabled GodMode.
Otherwise use Gamemode.PlayerShouldTakeDamage to filter out which entities should be able to damage the player.
To find out which entites are doing the damage just use a print. When you have their name check the class of the attacker and return false if needed.
Lol. No God mode for me, this is for my roleplaying community. Everyone keeps bitching and moaning about being raped by leeches, so whatever, trying to find a solution to please them. Will look into your suggestion though, thanks for the help.
Are there any other ideas though? In case that one suggested by Quebec won’t work?
