Opposing Force maps on gmod

So a while back I did a blue shift maps thread, where I released my blue shift ports, but then I learned model porting and kinda forgot about maps for a while.
Now I decided to go to the goldsource map ports I have been piling up over the years, polish them up and kick em out.

Maps of2a2 and of2a3 joined together into my interpretation of their pre disaster status.

This is… odd…
I have no idea what is causing those problems, I have never ran into anything like that before.
Also what is screenshot 6 supposed to be? I do not really see what is wrong with it.

if its the pic of the red door , the door makes the opening sound but won’t open also the elevators door won’t open :confused:

The red door at the end of the hallway is a dead end.
The elevator doors are not meant to open either.

ah ok its just the sound they make when you go to open them sound like they should maybe you could have an access denied sound :slight_smile:

They are normal doors, not mechanical, an access denied sound would be really weird.

Anyways.

good job again :slight_smile: a few more gliches https://www.dropbox.com/s/a2e10leznudo0m8/lambda_office.7z?dl=0 the purple/black textures are most prob errors on my side :confused:

The purple textures could be stuff I forgot to pak in the addon, although they all seem to be materials from hlsource itself.
I still have no clue what is causing the transparency in the textures, have you modified your half life source files in any way?
The black wall in screenshot 8 is not an error, that’s where the level ends. You can see I used a teleporter to travel between those rooms, as they are too far apart to easily link.
I was originaly planning to create a new area with an elevator, but I ran out of time in the end. It will be probably be added later though.

That is odd… Try verifying hlsource files, something may have broken without you noticing, happened to me before, could be the reason for the missing stuff.

By the way, if someone could get me the scientist model from opposing force, with an Einstein head and the following animations:

That would be awesome, as the talking scientist is the only thing that is preventing me from finishing the biodome, and I have not been able to bring him over.

Could just do with some noclip images of Opposing Force maps at least - would be handy for general fans also.

When I have more stuff finished perhaps.
