Overriding Default Explosion

Could someone override garrysmod’s default explosion effect (env_explosion) for me by replacing it with this http://wiki.garrysmod.com/?title=G.ParticleEffect. Just a simple script or such that could make my default explosions in garrysmod the ones above.

I used this download to start off with http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=85496

now I just need a hook or script to make it my default explosion.

Just use **[util.BlastDamage

Unless you want to make it so that everytime an env_explosion is created we’d replace it with your explosion instead? Possible but real hacky.

Well I didnt really want it to override every explosion, like for example, if I threw a HL2 Grenade, it would make the particle effect explosion, but if I used a swep that had its own custom explosion, I wouldnt want the custom explosion to be replaced with the particle explosion.


In other words I just want the second option you mentioned.
