In the mod I’m making, I’m trying to figure out the particle system to make a flashy scene. I was wondering if anyone here had any tips/tutorials to link me to since I’m having a hard time googling for answers. Anything would be great.

Bare minimum to get a particle to show is a renderer and an emitter. From there it’s just trial and error to see what works best for your situation.
I’ve found that you can get a lot more out of your particles if you use some of the remap X to Y operators.
