Pitch Yaw and Roll

I just need an answer to this, i’m not sure what axis the Pitch is on, X, or Y?

I’m asking this question because i know the source engine’s angles are somewhat different than they would be in real life.

Because in hl2, 0 degrees is east, not north.

Pitch - X (forward/backward)
Yaw - Y (clockwise/anti-clockwise)
Roll - Z (left/right)

No, I’m pretty sure Roll is X, Yaw is Y and pitch is Z.


It says it’s a C++ class but it applies in-game too.
