Player table values between two Lua files

Hey,

i have a GUI File where the player can set ComboBoxes or other things. All of them write something like “ply.pointc = 2”
Now in my Shared.lua file in a SWEP Weapon I want to read this variable but how? If i try to read this, its a nil value.

Try reading the value from the swep as:


self.Owner.pointc

I tried but it’s empty
