Playmodels cant be downloaded from Fastdl [TTT]

Hey,
I have a Fastdl for my TTT server. I installed 3 playermodels on my server and on my fastdl but the playermodels are errors ingame…
I hope someone can help me

Remove the bz2 extensions. I’m pretty sure it’s useless on the server itself. Make sure sv_allowdownload and sv_allowupload are set to 0. Also I recommend putting every fastDl code in one lua file and not separately

It’s downloading when I join my server but ingame the playermodel is invisible

  1. Did you drag & drop the addons into the addons folder?

or

  1. Did you copy and paste the models/materials/sounds/etc… into the garry’s mod directory?

If you did 1, then obviously something else is wrong with your server.

If you did 2, the garry’s mod directory is now connected to the addons folder. So that could be a factor as to why everything is invisible for you.

Just drag/drop the respected addons into the addon’s folder of your gmod server (C:\Program Files…\garrysmod\addons\

The playermodels are in the addons folder. Now the game want me getting crazy -.-
First no player model worked.
In the download.lua I tried to use resource.addfile exept resource.addsinglefile.
For testing I used addfile for deadpool and addsinglefile for deathstroke.
I restarted the server and ingame none of this playermodels worked…
But the player model alucard (addfile) worked…
I asked a friend to join for testing. He joined and downloaded the player models. Every model worked exept deadpool (what the…?!)
Do you know a way to use a fastdl for maps and other addons and the workshop for playermodels?

That’s wierd, could be corrupted textures with the deadpool model.

Maps work the same way with the addons, except you don’t need to list it in the resource.AddFile().
People will automatically download it.
