Try restarting hammer. It also looks like you might be mapping to close to the edge of the grid, try moving it over if it still occurs

Ok. now that I didn’t make the map near the edge, I didn’t get that error, but this time when I hit F9, Hammer crashed, what is wrong now?

Does the compiler claim it’s not responding? If so, it hasn’t crashed, just be patient.

Solution:
Look near the coordinates given. It is likely that you either need to func_detail a lot of brushes in that area, or that you have an invalid brush somewhere (Alt-p in hammer to check for them). It may be pretty difficult to hunt down the exact problem though.[/release]
